About Dysren

I’ve only been shooting for about a year. I love B&W photography, and color photography when color is a major part of how the image’s story is told. I have two cameras, a Canon S2 IS (my walk-around camera) and a Canon Rebel XT with a 18-200mm lens (what can I say? I’m lazy and hate to change out lenses).

I’m a native Washingtonian (State, not capital). I love old buildings, abandoned sites and photographing events. I hate studio work and posed shots (taking them, I like to view them, however). I prefer to capture things as is. My favorite flickr groups deal with still-life, minimalism, mundane details and B&W photography.

I think this is a great community. The people here are extremely open and supportive and I look forward to building relationships.
